BQP was among the winners during the demo day of the #HUSTLEDefenseAccelerator at Griffis Institute NY, Rome. The program has the support of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), New York State’s Empire State Development (ESD), and National Grid. The Griffiss Institute’s HUSTLE Defense Accelerator is a highly acclaimed program for seed-stage tech startups focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, quantum science, and unmanned aircraft system products.
Griffis Institute selected BQP to pitch at HUSTLE Demo Day following a rigorous competition that included eight shortlisted startups recognized for their "validated potential to enhance U.S. national security and economic competitiveness," aligning with the program's core objectives. As part of the winner’s award, BQP secured a $100,000 investment for its continued development and expansion and is among one of the first Indian-origin start-ups to do so.
Discussions with the Air Force Research Lab (ARFL) and Griffiss Institute for potential agreements and access to Quantum Computing testbeds are underway. These collaborations hold immense significance for BQP's future, as they not only facilitate further research and development efforts but also pave the way for strategic connections within the defense and quantum computing sectors.
